Inspect your roof
- Look out for missing roof tiles, ridge tiles, coping stones and slipped slates.
- Check the condition of your cement and pointing on your roof area, in particular your chimney area and lead flashings
- Check cement under your ridge tiles and hip tiles. Look for any loose cement debris in lead valley areas of your roof.
- Check for any leaking guttering and blocked gutters and rotten fascias.
- On flat roofs check for any cracks in the felting or bubbles, if there are any dips the decking will need replacing.
